Certification and Safety

Food catering is a serious business and we are serious about food safety. All customers  receive a copy of our safety and compliance information prior to engagement.

Certification

Working With Children

All our staff are  required to pass a Working With Children Check to ensure your loved ones are protected. Police background checks are also available if required.

Equipment Certification

Our catering rigs are certified to comply with the Australian Food Safety Code and signed off by authorised local government inspectors.

Staff Training

We only employ Nationally Accredited food safety supervisors and/or handlers, certified by Registered Training Organisations.

COVID/Work Safe

During the pandemic we developed our own extensive in-house Victorian COVID Work Safe policy. As infectious disease preparedness is a constantly evolving situation we regularly seek out the latest expert medical advice in accordance with Work Safe best practice.

Private catering events are not required to satisfy government check-in requirements but we do provide an optional QR code where you can lodge your details should you wish.

All public events are lodged with FoodTrader.

Insurance

We maintain full public liability insurance with cover up to $20 million at all times. A Certificate of  Currency is provided to all new clients as part of our Compliance Advice Pack.
